Opal is the kaleidoscope stone, precious opals each display an infinite and one-of-a-kind blend of colors. As you move the stone you will see flashes of blues, greens, yellow and sometimes red. This scattering of color is called iridescence or play-of-color. Throughout time and cultures opals have been considered one of the luckiest and most magical gemstones.
