A truly rare, one-of-a-kind treasure, this 2.50ct Opalescent Sapphire is cut in a precision squared cushion mixed cut, revealing a luminous silver-white-blue body color. Ethically sourced from Ratnapura, Sri Lanka, the stone is entirely free from treatments.

This opalescent sapphire has an enchanting milky iridescence—known as silk in sapphires—that gives it the magical qualities of an opal. Its silky appearance scatters light into flashes of secondary colors, creating a soft, dreamlike glow. After ordering, you will receive a 3D CAD design of your selections within 5-10 days, before we make the final ring.

Bespoke rings and charms take 6-8 weeks to make.

Care

Since gemstones like rubies, sapphires, aquamarines, tourmalines and other stones originate from a wide variety of raw materials with different hardness and durability. Despite the wide range of raw materials, there are some basic rules that apply to the majority of gemstone jewelry items. The biggest rule for gemstone jewelry is to avoid hot water and chemicals like chlorine, bleach, ammonia and hair spray. Many colored stones are sensitive to high heats and/or can be unknowingly treated which will react with heat and chemicals.
