Juliana inherited a large blue topaz from her grandmother and wanted to create a pair of statement earrings, possibly adding a second stone and diamond hoops. Which is exactly how they came out!
We started by sourcing a very similar blue topaz and custom cutting the stone to match. At the same time we had her grandmother’s stone re-polished so both stones would be sparkling.

For the second stone we landed on a light purple emerald cut amethyst, a fun juxtaposition to the blue topaz, hanging from diamond hoops. The possibilities are endless with heirloom stones!
