Sales & Customer Experience Manager – E-Commerce, Private Sales, & Wholesale

Location: [DTLA] | 🕒 Full-Time, In Studio

What You’ll Do:

As our Sales & Customer Experience Manager, you’ll be overseeing e-commerce sales, client service, private appointments, and wholesale account management. You’ll be a key brand ambassador who ensures every interaction reflects Starling’s commitment to exceptional quality and care.

Key Responsibilities:

E-Commerce Sales & Customer Service

  • Manage customer communications via email, chat, and phone
  • Provide proactive support for order updates, product inquiries, returns, and exchanges
  • Track online sales performance and identify opportunities to improve conversion and retention

Private & Studio Sales

  • Host in-person and virtual appointments for private clients and VIPs
  • Guide customers through custom orders and bespoke services
  • Deliver a warm, personalized experience that inspires trust and loyalty
  • Ability to travel when necessary for out of town shopping events

Wholesale Sales & Support

  • Maintain relationships with retail buyers and wholesale partners
  • Assist with seasonal outreach, order management, and fulfillment coordination
  • Prepare line sheets, order forms, and wholesale collateral

Operational & Administrative

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activity and client communication in CRM tools
  • Collaborate with production, logistics, and marketing teams to ensure smooth processes
  • Contribute to process improvements that enhance customer experience and operational efficiency

Who You Are:

  • 3+ years of experience in fine jewelry e-commerce sales, customer service, or account management
  • GIA Experience preferred
  • A natural communicator with exceptional writing and interpersonal skills
  • Enjoys the occasional many hats of  small business and being part of a growing team
  • Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
  • Experienced with Shopify, CRM systems, and Google Suite
  • Comfortable in a client-facing environment, both virtually and in person
  • Passionate about fine jewelry and dedicated to creating memorable customer experiences

Base Salary:
$75,000–$85,000 depending on experience

Performance Bonus:
5–10% annual, tied to overall sales KPIs and client satisfaction
