It's all in the details, especially when your making delicate fine jewelry. We want all of our pieces to be wearable and long lasting, so we upgraded our clasps! The original spring lock is less expensive, but was easily getting caught on clothing, bending easily and frankly, wasn't that great. It was easily getting caught on clothing and bending easily. We tried a few options and chose a heavier and more secure oval lobster clasp.
So what does this mean to you? The new lobster clasp is solid gold, not hollow, like the spring clasp, and it is much more secure. While it is a bit more expensive, it improves the quality and expands the lifespan of your jewelry. A good clasp is a tell-tale sign of well made jewelry. By making this change, we are helping to ensure that the piece you buy is a piece that you can treasure forever.
