- From: Mined in Myanmar, as well as Thailand, Cambodia, Myanmar, India, Afghanistan, Australia, Namibia, Colombia, Japan, Scotland, Brazil and Pakistan.
- Facts & Lore: Diamonds are the only gemstone harder than corundum. Rubies symbolize passion and energy, and are said to bring love and success. They have been particularly prized in Asian countries, where records show that they were traded along China’s North Silk Road as early as 200 B.C.
